Chris Pavlides stated that, “Creating opportunities for others will create opportunities for you. Giving is better than receiving.” Before his untimely death in 2009, Pavlides was an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship in the General & Strategic Management Department of the Fox School of Business at Temple University. For many years, he served as the Executive Director of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute and was a member of the Steering Committee for the Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures of the Fox School of Business.

- Paying it forward is not just a clever phrase; it’s a way of living that will be far more fulfilling than the pursuit of “earthly treasures”.
- Any region or demographic can create their own version of GPSEG as long as they are committed to GPSEG’s “networking for life” and paying it forward.
